Operating out of Albuquerque, NM, NMPFL is a not for profit corporation. Its mission is to increase the basic proficiency in fundamental financial matters by the citizens of New Mexico.
New Mexico has many areas of social and economic standing that can and should be dramatically improved. As a prerequisite, improvement in the understanding and application of cash management, the use of debt and equity for wealth creation, plus basics in budgeting, spending and saving is critical to any long term improvement. Many have needs because of family dynamics. Some need merely to have a refresher on the basics. Many are finding themselves on their own for the first time. In any event, NMPFL has the mission to assist each New Mexico citizen in achieving a higher level of financial literacy.
NMPFL conducts workshops, classroom education, seminars, entry and exit research, plus follow up training for effectiveness evaluation
