What You'll Learn

Do you know as much as you should know to help clients and their extended families during these stressful times?

 

The curriculum of the two and one half day program uniquely combines coaching skills with financial content, and will include the following topics:

  • Debt and Credit

    • Bankruptcy indicators

    • The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

    • Debt management and settlement

    • Credit scoring and reporting

    • Building credit for the young and those in financial recovery

    • Repossession and foreclosure

    • Identity theft topics
       

  • Coaching Skills

    • Critical thinking tools, including problem definition and cause and effect analysis

    • Coaching around money issues; “wealth esteem”, money styles and relationships, money paradigms, behavioral economics

    • Learn a simple COACH model to get to the heart of the matter

    • Practice the most effective skills to move clients from their money fears into action

    • Find a “coachable” goal that empowers clients to overcome internal barriers to successful money management
